New Chuwa successfully achieved accreditation for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and GB/28001 a domestically awarded certificate for OHS management.

2011

New Chuwa became the first wool manufacturing company in China to be awarded the EU Ecolabel certificate.

2011

New Chuwa introduced the 6S concepts as part of their day to day management operations which has lead to a safer and cleaner working environment, and at the same time has enhanced the knowledge and efficiency of the workforce resulting in improved consistency in terms of product quality.

2015

New Chuwa introduce a new range of wool tops made from 100% accredited SRS wool fibre. SRS wool is sourced from a group of certified woolgrowers in Australia, who breed a specific type of Merino sheep which has a “soft rolling skin” (SRS). Not only is the wool fibre from such sheep is soft and bright, but the sheep are naturally resistant to fly strike and thus don't have to be mulesed.

2015

New Chuwa introduced their Eco range of shrink-resisted treated tops, which during chemical processing no Chlorine or other halogens are used, ensuring that no Absorbable Organic Halogens (AOX) are produced and discharged into the effluent from the process.

2016

New Chuwa gained experienced in meeting the targets set out by Greenpeace” Detoxification of the Textile Supply Chain” scheme.

2017

New Chuwa as part of Zhejiang Xinao Textile Inc, became one of the first wool top making companies to become an RWS accredited wool manufacturer, in accordance with the Responsible Wool Standard set down by the Textile Exchange organisation.
